Three Lecturers of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences Participate in Competency Assessor Certification and Pass BNSP Competency Assessor Certification

Jakarta, December 18, 2024 – As a strategic step in establishing a Professional Certification Institute (LSP) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, three lecturers from the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences participated in the Competency Assessor Certification and have successfully passed the Competency Assessor Certification organized by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). This activity took place for five days at Wisma Syahida Inn, Campus 2 UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

The three lecturers are: Amirudin, M.Sc. Abdul Hafiz, MA Dr. Wati Nilamsari, M.Sc. This certification aims to prepare competency assessors who play an important role in supporting the establishment of LSP UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Through this LSP, the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences - UIN Jakarta is expected to improve the quality of graduates by providing competency-based professional certification that is recognized nationally.

The five-day training covers various important materials, such as:

  • National Certification Policy and System
  • Planning Assessment Activities and Processes
  • Conducting Assessment
  • Contributing to Assessment Validation

In addition to class materials, participants also do various independent assignments, group discussions, and simulations ( role play ) to apply the competency-based assessment process. During the training, participants also receive direct guidance from experienced BNSP Master Assessors.

The event was closed with an evaluation and filling of ACA documents which will be part of the competency assessor certification application process. This activity is expected to improve the quality and professionalism of lecturers as competency assessors and is expected to be the first step towards the establishment of a professional LSP UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta that is oriented towards industry needs.

This activity is a manifestation of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's commitment to continue to innovate in improving the quality of competency-based higher education, while also responding to the challenges of an increasingly dynamic world of work. (A.Hafiz)
