The Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta once again held a Safari Da'wah farewell event attended by 182 students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BPI). This event took place on Monday, January 6, 2025, in the Theater Room of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, with the theme "Stepping Together to Pursue Hope to Realize Change in Synergy of Togetherness."

In her first speech, the Head of the BPI Study Program, Dr. Hj. Nasichah, MA, expressed her hope that the students who will participate in the Safari Dakwah can carry out the mandate of da'wah with full responsibility. She emphasized the importance of togetherness in da'wah. "This trip is not just an academic assignment, but also an opportunity to experience firsthand the true meaning of da'wah. Let us give our best to the community and always maintain the spirit of synergy," said Dr. Nasichah enthusiastically.

The second speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, Dr. Gun Gun Heryanto, M.Si, who officially opened and released students to carry out the Da'wah Safari in Ciamis, West Java. In his speech, Dr. Gun Gun reminded the importance of collaboration in da'wah. "Togetherness and synergy are the keys to realizing change. I am sure, with the spirit that we have together, you will be able to make a significant impact on the Ciamis community," said Dr. Gun Gun, M.Si

This Dakwah Safari aims to provide direct experience for BPI students in carrying out da'wah based on friendly and togetherness Islamic values. The students will carry out various da'wah activities that not only educate, but also strengthen social ties in the local community.

The farewell event ended with a joint prayer, asking for the smoothness and blessings for all Safari Dakwah participants. With the spirit of togetherness, the students are expected to be able to carry out this mission of preaching with full dedication and be able to bring positive changes in Ciamis.
