Ciputat - UIN Jakarta, in order to support and train the skills of public relations PICs at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah in the process of writing news and articles, the Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UIN Jakara initiated a "Creative Writing Workshop" which was held for one day on December 23 2024 at Diorama Room at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta

The workshop was opened by the Head of the Public Relations Information Center (PIH) Zaenal Muttaqin, the aim of this workshop was to provide knowledge and train participants in creating broadcast-worthy news and articles in order to increase visitors to the UIN Jakarta website which has an impact on web metrics.

The resource person in the workshop activity was a journalist, Aat Surya Safaat, who has many written works published in various media and has experience in online and offline media. In this workshop, the resource person gave important notes in writing, news must be fast, precise, accurate and responsible.

This workshop was attended by Public Relations PICs, education staff and students at UIN Jakarta, the participants were very enthusiastic in learning how to write well in creating news and articles,

In the final session, the resource person gave the participants a challenge to create news or articles that would be published if the news or articles created met the rules for writing news or articles. (dg)
