Media Literacy Sharing Session at the Indonesian Literacy House, Banyuwangi
Banyuwangi, December 5, 2024. The third day of Community Service in Banyuwangi, the Islamic Broadcasting Communication study program held a sharing session on media literacy with the management of the Indonesian Literacy House. The activity took place from 08.00-12.00 WIB. Present to accompany the Head of the KPI Study Program Dr. Yopi Kusmiati, M.Si, PKM coordinator Dr. H.M. Yakub, MA, a group of lecturers and students, the Founder of RLI, volunteers and students of Stikom Banyuwangi.
The speakers for the sharing session were Sony Iskandar Trilaksono, M.M and Muhamad Fanshobi, M.Sos. Sony delivered material on photography techniques and video production. Fanshobi explained the tricks to becoming a professional content creator.
In detail, Sony explained the shooting technique as follows:
"In general, knowledge about cameras is intended as additional knowledge about the early generation of cameras that still use roll film as a medium for storing images. While today's digital cameras have almost the same functions as conventional cameras. The difference is in the light rays captured by the lens, digital cameras capture light through a system that is projected by a processor that converts it into digital signals and is stored in the form of data".
The urgency of mastering content creators is currently very promising, Fanshobi said:
"Becoming a content creator is a promising profession today, because it can make money. Rumah Literasi Indonesia must choose whether to become a content creator, content marketer or content figure. These three fields differ in content, strategy and consumers".
The last session was sharing, Q&A and group photos. Hopefully this sharing session will have a positive impact on the development of digital media literacy at Rumah Literasi Indonesia.
