International Public Lecture FDIKOM UIN Jakarta: Understand Dignity Seven Theories of Wahda al- Wujud

This event in progress from at 13.00 to 15.30 WIB at the 2nd Floor Theater, attended by students , lecturers , and academics . Activities This aiming For discuss theory Dignity Seven in Sufism Malay as well as its influence to global Islamic thought .
The event begins with opening official by MC Siti Sofiah Rahmawati, reading paragraph holy Quran, songs nationality , and welcome from the Vice Dean for Student Affairs , Alumni and Cooperation of FDIKOM, Dr. Muhtadi, M.Si , who emphasized the importance of academic dialogue cross culture in develop outlook intellectual . After that , discussion moderated by Drs. Helmi Hidayat, MA, with presenting Prof. Yasushi Tonaga from Kyoto University, Japan , as speaker main .
In his presentation , Prof. Tonaga discuss theory Dignity Seven were first introduced by al- Burhanpuri in the 16th century . He explain seven stages Divine manifestation which is the essence of theory this , and compare it with the theory of the "Five Divine Presences " of Arab-Persian tradition . Prof. Tonaga also explained How theory Dignity Seven become typical in tradition Sufism Malay through transmission of the scholars since 17th century .

One of them , Dewi Laras Lestari from Magister KPI, asked Prof. Tonaga's motivation as researcher Japan in to study theory Sufism Malay and what There is connection culture or history between theory This with Japan . Prof. Tonaga explain that his research driven by an interest in global Sufism and connections history of Islam in Asia.
