FITK UIN Jakarta in Collaboration with ISC Successfully Holds Scholarship Fair
The Faculty of Educational Sciences and Teacher Training (FITK) in collaboration with the Indonesian Scholarship Center (ISC) successfully held a Scholarship Fair at the East Lobby of FITK UIN Jakarta on Friday, April 26.
The exhibition, which collaborated with 38 partners, provided consultation services and a sharing session during the seminar program themed Edutalx. This event was attended not only by FITK students but also by students from other faculties of UIN Jakarta, general university students, and high school students from the South Tangerang area.
The Scholarship Fair was the first project event organized by the Uplift Creativity Program (UCP) of FITK. UCP is an internship program at FITK UIN Jakarta under the auspices of the Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni.
With the theme "Dream, Believe, Achieve: Making Further Education Accessible," Nuryuda Tama, the UCP FITK Project Manager, hopes that this event can facilitate students in obtaining information, consultation services, and easy access to scholarship programs both domestically and internationally.
"First, we wanted to break through with this event, because it's been a long time since we've had a fair or exhibition like this, especially in the Faculty of Educational Sciences, which has a large number of students. It's a shame if there's no access to information and creative events, such as this Scholarship Fair," said Nurhidayatama in an interview with DNK TV on Friday, March 8.
This sentiment was echoed by Afin from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Indonesia, a partner in the Scholarship Fair. He explained that their goal in collaborating was to provide information about scholarship opportunities in Japan, as many students at UIN Jakarta are still unaware of these scholarships.
Kayla Rahma Nasution, a student from the English Education Study Program at FITK, expressed great interest in the event because it provided scholarship information from various countries such as Australia, Japan, Korea, and Germany.
"We received a lot of information about scholarships and admissions from each university. It turns out that not all departments accept all majors for master's programs. The requirements also vary, from IELTS scores, personal statements, and the IELTS score ranges," she explained. (Reporter ; Afzalu Rohman)
