FDIKOM UIN Jakarta Students Achieve Achievements in PRABU Taekwondo Challenge 8 Championship
The PRABU Taekwondo Challenge 8 Championship which took place on January 3-5, 2025 became a showcase for talented young athletes from various provinces in Indonesia. With participants from 12 provinces participating, this competition became a forum for improving achievements involving the best Taekwondo clubs from all over the country. Not to be missed, students of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta also took part and succeeded in achieving proud achievements.
PRABU Taekwondo Challenge is one of the prestigious Taekwondo championships in Indonesia which is routinely held every year. In this eighth event, the event lasted for three days with a tight competitive atmosphere and full of sportsmanship. This event is an important platform for young athletes to hone their skills and gain experience at the national level.
Two FDIKOM students, Muhammad Farhan Rahmawan and Salya Agnia Afwa, managed to bring home bronze medals from the senior kyorugi category. Farhan competed in the U-63 class, while Salya competed in the U-43 class. This achievement shows that FDIKOM students can have achievements in non-academic fields, namely being able to shine in the field of sports, especially the martial art of taekwondo.
The PRABU Taekwondo Challenge 8 Championship was held on January 3-5, 2025 at the Indoor Kelapa Dua Stadium (Indomilk Arena), Tangerang Regency. This event involved clubs from 12 provinces, creating a dynamic and challenging competition atmosphere for the participants.
The achievements of Muhammad Farhan Rahmawan and Salya Agnia Afwa are important in developing their potential in various fields, including Taekwondo. This is also in line with the university's vision in producing a competent and holistically accomplished generation.
