On Thursday (21/03), the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) held an event to complete the Qur'an and break the fast together at the Second Floor Theater. This event was attended by the dean and Vice Dean (Wadek) of FDIKOM, all basic staff of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, and the President of the Hayrat Foundation, dr. Calal Akar. In addition to breaking the fast together, this activity also focused on sharing basic food packages to basic campus staff. With a warm and togetherness atmosphere, this event became an important moment to strengthen relations among academicians and strengthen the spirit of social concern on campus.

Dean of FDIKOM, Dr. Gun Gun Heryanto, M. Si explained, the event of completing the Al-Qur'an and breaking the fast together held by FDIKOM involved various faculties and strengthened partnerships with other parties such as the National Zakat Agency (Baznas). This event reflects the balance between intellectual and social activities, as well as knowledge and spirituality, which are important for a healthy academic environment.

"This event is planned to continue to be held every year with a wider scope, not only involving basic personnel, but also increasing the volume of activities to expand its benefits. Thus, this event can strengthen social ties and togetherness among campus residents. In addition, this event is also expected to increase awareness of the importance of sharing and supporting each other," he explained.

The head of the event committee, Bilqis Naufi, said that during the breaking of the fast together, this event was not just about eating together, but also strengthening relationships between each other. This activity is an opportunity to appreciate the important role of basic workers and share kindness. By strengthening social ties, this event helps create a more harmonious and solid academic environment.

"I hope this event will continue to be held in the following years with an increasing number of donors. Thus, this event can strengthen social ties and togetherness among campus residents, as well as expand its positive impact in society. Through this activity, it is hoped that the spirit of sharing and supporting each other can continue to grow and develop in the academic environment so as to create a community that is more caring and sensitive to the needs of those around it," he said.
