Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences UIN Jakarta and Pusbangkom SDM Kemenag RI Establish Cooperation
Ciputat - Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta and the Center for Human Resource Development (Pusbangkom SDM) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) have established a collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). This collaboration aims to improve the quality of education, develop the competency of State Civil Apparatus (ASN), and provide internship opportunities for students. The activity was also attended by academics from the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM).
Dean of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, Dr. Gun Gun Heryanto, M.Si conveyed three main points of this collaboration. First, this collaboration is institutional in nature and is regulated by a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), which is an important foundation for the collaboration of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Second, the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) UIN Jakarta, with six undergraduate study programs and two master's study programs, is ready to contribute to this collaboration. Third, this collaboration is designed for the exchange of information and resources, with lecturers as resource persons and students as the production team. He also touched on the challenges of budget limitations faced, but will not reduce the quality of the collaboration.
Head of the Center for Human Resources Development and Religious Affairs of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dr. H. Mastuki, M.Ag added and welcomed this collaboration. He emphasized the need for greater intensity in involving UIN Jakarta students, considering the many trainings and studies that are relevant to the development of human resources competencies of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as the use of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) online platform for counseling on religious knowledge. The Center for Human Resources Development and Communication of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which is now focused on developing ASN and non-ASN competencies, has complete facilities such as TV channels to support distance learning and smart class rooms. He hopes that this collaboration can help develop ASN potential and produce useful knowledge content.
Finally, many thanks were expressed from the academic community who attended the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), and it is hoped that this collaboration can be a real step in improving the quality of human resources in the Ministry of Religion and provide valuable experience for UIN Jakarta students. The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by the Dean of FDIKOM, Dr. Gun Gun Heryanto M.Si, with the Head of the Center for Human Resources Development and Communication of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. H.
