Exploration of Cooperation between the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Iran and FDIKOM
On Friday, March 1, 2024, the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) received a visit from the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Iran, Muhammad Reza Ibrahimi, to explore cooperation in the context of the three pillars of higher education: teaching, research, and community service. He was accompanied by the translation and documentation department.
On that occasion, Gun Gun Heriyanto, the Dean of FDIKOM, warmly welcomed this exploration of cooperation and provided guidance on three aspects related to the cooperation with the Embassy of Iran. Firstly, cooperation in research, exchange of lecturers, participation in conferences to be held at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences in June 2024, and student mobility. Secondly, visits for research purposes to Islamic propagation institutions in Iran. Thirdly, Persian language courses through the Iran Corner.
Furthermore, Muhammad Reza Ibrahimi expressed readiness to collaborate with FDIKOM regarding scholarships, exchange of lecturers, teaching Indonesian language at universities in Iran, collaborative research, and writing academic articles for journals in Iran. He also proposed visits to several universities in Iran including Sharif University of Technology, University of Tehran, and others. He also suggested visiting the Qum Library and touring Kashan, which hosts the Rose Water Festival. This cooperation can be followed up with various academic activities including scholarships, collaborative research, student mobility, and so forth. As these processes and activities will provide global recognition to FDIKOM. Hopefully. (MTD)
