Bangunharja, Cisaga, Ciamis Regency – Bangunharja Village became the center of attention with the ongoing da'wah safari attended by 182 students from the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, especially from the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, Islamic Guidance and Counseling Department. This event took place from January 10 to January 25, 2025.

Bangunharja Village Head, Mr. Carikin, said that the village provided support according to its ability to support the participants who attended in large numbers. "We strongly support this activity because it is very positive and is a form of assistance that is beneficial to the community," said Mr. Carikin.

In the midst of this da'wah safari, Mr. Carikin also introduced the superior products of UMKM actors in Bangunharja Village, namely bags made of gebang leaves. This product was introduced to participants with a presentation from the Cooperatives, SMEs and Trade Service, which also provided insight into the potential for developing local products.

The introduction of the bag made of gebang leaves is an important moment, showing how collaboration between da'wah activities and local economic development can go hand in hand. This product is expected to attract the attention of students and become an effective promotional tool to expand the market for UMKM products in Bangunharja Village, in addition to vests, there are also Tilapia Fish Abon, Cucuk Riuk (tilapia fish bones) where the meat is made into abon while the bones and heads are made into Crackers, Crispy Jengkol, Chocolate Jengkol, Nastar Jengkol, Anchovy and Peanut Jengkol, Crispy Pare, Tilapia fish cendol dawet which is a superior culinary and Fashion Vests made from Banana tree fibers.

This da'wah safari combined with the promotion of local products not only enriches the spiritual and social experiences of the students, but also has a positive impact on the development of the village economy. It is hoped that this collaboration can continue and provide sustainable benefits for the people of Bangunharja Village.
