Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, UIN Online News – The leadership and academic community of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta are optimistic about obtaining satisfactory international accreditation results. This follows the implementation of the accreditation visitation activities of the international quality assurance institution ACQUIN ( Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute ) to various study programs within FIDIKOM for two full days, Monday-Tuesday, December 9-10, 2024.

In his statement to UIN Online NEWS , Wednesday, (11/12/2024), Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FDIKOM, Dr. Fita Fathurokhmah, M.Sc., is optimistic that the accreditation visitation of FDIKOM UIN Jakarta for four study programs, namely Islamic Broadcasting Communication (KPI), Islamic Guidance and Counseling (BPI), Da'wah Management (MD), and Social Welfare (Kessos) will produce optimal results. "With the support and prayers of the rectorate leadership, faculty, lecturers, education staff, students, and alumni, God willing, the results will be optimal," he said.

The Doctor of Strategic Communication revealed that the accreditation visitation carried out was quite complex because there were at least 10 assessment standards so that the study program could obtain international accreditation recognition from ACQUIN. Among them are quality policies, learning systematics, lecture facilities, lecturer assessments, information media, faculty relations, and others. "The assessors are very detailed in assessing and asking questions," explained Dr. Fita Fathurokhmah, M.Si.

However, Vice Dean Fita is optimistic that the results of the accreditation visitation will be optimal. In addition to the optimal visitation process, the assessors were also impressed with the facilitation of the visitation process.

Robert Rabac as the Project Manager of ACQUIN international accreditation is of the opinion that the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences has succeeded in achieving superior accreditation. "I think everyone will get superior (from all assessment standards)," said Robert Rabac in a conversation via Whatsapp with Dr. Fita Fathurokhmah M.Si.

Robert Rabac also informed that the official results of ACQUIN at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences will be released next week. The announcement of the accreditation results will provide a comprehensive picture of the achievements and quality of study programs at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences. This is expected to be a benchmark for curriculum development, lecturer quality, and academic infrastructure in the future.

ACQUIN ( Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute ) is an international accreditation certification institution registered with EQAR ( European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education ), by measuring the quality assurance standards of international-standard higher education institutions in Europe. The assessment is carried out through online forums and faculty visits. The Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences is Cluster 3 in the Social, Communication and Management categories.
