Bachelor of Islamic Guidance and Extension
The history of the Islamic Guidance and Extension Study Program began in 1992-1993 when the Faculty of Da'wah of IAIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta opened the Department of Guidance and Community Counseling (BPA). Then in 1994-1995 the name of this department changed to the Department of Guidance and Religious Counseling (BPA) and two years later, namely in the academic year 1996-1997 there was a change of name, becoming Guidance and Islamic Extension (BPI) until now.
The BPI Study Program is competent in producing qualified Muslim scholars in the field of Islamic Guidance and Extension with the main competencies in the scientific clumps of da'wah and counseling science, produce Muslim scholars who master and produce innovative and environmentally sound science through research activities in the field of Islamic Guidance and Extension, contribute to the development of academic in improving the quality of life of a smart, prosperous, productive and environmentally friendly society. academic development in improving the quality of life of a smart, prosperous, productive and morally good and sustainable society.
The academic degree of the BPI Study Program has undergone several changes, including the Bachelor of Islamic Communication Science (S.Kom.I), then changed to the Bachelor of Islamic Social (S.Sos.I), then changed to the Bachelor of Social (S.Sos.) until now. In 2012 UIN Jakarta BPI Study Program has been accredited with the title "A" according to BAN PT Decree No: 024/BAN-PT/Ak-XV/S1/VIII/2012. In 2018 UIN Jakarta's BPI Study Program has been accredited with the title "A"; according to BAN PT Decree No: 356/SK BAN-PT/Ak-INV/S/VI/2018. Then in 2022 the BPI Study Program carried out accreditation with the predicate "A" according to BAN PT Decree No. 10389/SK/BAN-PT: 10389/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.Ppj/S/XII/2022, which is valid until December 28, 2027.
BPI alumni are scattered in various regions, both at home and abroad, including Jakarta and its surroundings, Central Java, East Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, East Timor, Malaysia, and Thailand. They work in various agencies and in professions related to guidance and counseling. However, many of them also work in professions related to guidance and counseling. counseling. Campus Radio
Radio Da'wah and Communication FM or RDK FM is one of the communities under the auspices of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM), State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The membership of the RDK FM crew consists of students of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences. Therefore, RDK FM is one of the learning platforms for FDIKOM students who Interested in the world of radio, not only that students can also learn about organizations. Activities in RDK FM are not much different from broadcast operations in the radio world like covering the news, editing radio advertisements, creating interesting programs, establishing cooperation, and other radio operational activities. RDK FM can be heard on a frequency of 107.9 FM with coverage broadcast about 2.5 kilometers from FDIKOM, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
DNK TV
DNKTV (Dakwah and Communication Television) is a community broadcasting organization for students engaged in broadcasting and journalism. DNK TV is also a medium of learning media for students who want to improve their skills in television broadcasting and Journalism. By providing information, education, and entertainment services to the community, DNK TV wants to have an impact in order to educate the community towards a civil society.
Library
The Library of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences has a collection that includes more than 2,000 books and 1,000 current scientific journals across the various disciplines taught. This collection is constantly updated and expanded in line with curriculum and research developments.
