Ciputat, December 19, 2024, In order to support the smooth process of filling in student grades by lecturers at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) of the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, the dean's office initiated a mentoring event for filling in student grades by FDIKOM lecturers using the Application accompanied by the Center for Information Technology and Database (PUSTIPANDA) in the Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of FDIKOM UIN Jakarta.

This mentoring activity has a Hybrid concept which is carried out offline and online, the event was attended by the Dean of FDIKOM Dr. Gun Gun Heriyanto, M.Si, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Fita Fatkhurohmah, M.Si, Deputy Dean for General Administration Dr. Rubiyanah, MA, lecturers, Education Personnel and a number of representatives from PUSTIPANDA, The event was opened by the Dean of FDIKOM UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and continued with the presentation of technical material on Filling in Student Grades by Abdullah, S.kom from Pustipanda.

The application used to fill in student grades is E-Semesta, which is a digital platform application used to facilitate the academic community of UIN Jakarta. This application is relatively new, because this application has just been created and is still in the development process at UIN Jakarta. This application is a form of collaboration in the field of technology between UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta University and Gajah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta.

In this activity, the lecturers complained that the many applications used made the lecturers do double the work, because based on the material presented, the old application (AIS) was still used for the previous class. And for the new application (e-semesta) the lecturers still need to adapt again. The lecturers at FDIKOM hope that this new application can help make it easier for lecturers to fill in student grades (dg)
